Sustainability and Transport

In our school we aim to help protect our world by working towards a sustainable environment: recycling waste, reusing materials where possible and reducing our carbon footprint.

By educating the children about how to save energy and resources through such simple measures as turning off dripping taps, switching off lights when we leave the room and recycling food waste, we hope to raise awareness about the issues involved and help work towards a greener planet.  Please talk to your children about sustainability and look for this page for further updates by clicking on the link below.

Walk To School Week

In 2018 we participated in ‘Walk to School Week’.  The children were encouraged to leave any family cars at home and come to school by walking or by riding a bike or scooter.  Parents supported their children and the planet by helping them to participate in this challenge.  More details are in the link below.
