Latest update on Covid Situation in School

Dear Parents,

As you are aware, while Year 1 and Year 2 are continuing with remote learning until Friday as they are self-isolating, Reception and Nursery have been at home on a precautionary basis while waiting for test results. We have had several back now which are all negative thank goddness but there are others still outstanding including for a staff member who works across the phases on a daily basis.

As a result and with consultation with Public Health at Hounslow Council and the School Effectiveness Team at the Local Authority, the Governors have agreed that the school remain on remote learning for the last two days of the term. To bring back classes at this point would raise the risk level of transmission. This means the children do not return to school until January.

We will follow up on this post with an update on the support the school is offering over the break to help with contact tracing in case of any positive results.

Please take extreme care at this difficult time and keep in touch if you need to inform us of any concerns or if you would like some advice or help.

Thank you for your continued support,

Ms Harper-Quinn
